Susie Whinney

As an HCPC-registered, fully accredited and formally trained Sonographer, Susie is dedicated to delivering high standards of clinical excellence while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centred approach. She recognises that many ultrasound examinations can be sensitive or anxiety-inducing, and takes pride in creating a calm, respectful, and supportive environment where patients feel informed, reassured, and at ease throughout their care.

Susie specialises in women’s health and abdominal diagnostics, with extensive experience in performing and interpreting a broad range of ultrasound examinations. Her practice is grounded in accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to established clinical guidelines, ensuring high-quality diagnostic outcomes that support effective patient management.

In addition to her technical expertise, Susie places strong emphasis on clear and empathetic communication. She takes the time to explain procedures and findings in a way that is accessible and reassuring for each patient. Susie is committed to continuous professional development and staying up to date with advancements in sonography, enabling her to consistently provide the highest standard of care.

Susie recently represented Momentm at the 2025 British Medical Ultrasound Society conference, ensuring herself and other Momentm team members are fully up to date with the latest standards of care.
