Meet Karen

Karen Myhill BSc qualified from the University of Suffolk in 2010 and has built a 15-year career at West Suffolk Hospital. Beginning with a grounding in CT imaging — which provided valuable cross-sectional knowledge — she trained in MRI in 2013 and was promoted to Senior Radiographer that same year. By 2022, she had focused her practice exclusively on MRI, where she now brings over twelve years of dedicated experience to every examination.

Karen has a strong commitment to quality assurance and image optimisation, ensuring that every scanner delivers the highest diagnostic quality possible. She has a particular passion for pelvic and gynaecological imaging, where she finds the greatest reward in technically demanding examinations that require both precision and adaptability.

Her warm and approachable manner ensures that patients at every stage of their diagnostic journey feel properly supported, and her technical expertise means that comfort and image quality are never in competition.
