Georgina Wood

Georgina Wood is an HCPC-registered Diagnostic Radiographer and highly accomplished sonographer, with a career built on decades of clinical excellence across the NHS and private healthcare.

Having qualified in ultrasound immediately after completing her Radiography training, Georgina went on to achieve a Masters Degree specifically in Ultrasound, alongside further postgraduate study in vascular and musculoskeletal imaging. Her clinical scope is broad — encompassing abdominal, gynaecological, small-parts, paediatric, vascular and musculoskeletal scanning — and her experience with complex pathologies is extensive.

Georgina has held senior leadership roles throughout her career, including managing the Ultrasound department at Cambridge University Hospitals, one of the UK’s foremost NHS trusts. That combination of frontline clinical expertise and departmental leadership is rare, and it shows in the quality and confidence she brings to every patient interaction.
