Meet Georgina
Georgina Freeman- Hood
Georgina Freeman-Hood is a Clinical Support Worker with seven years of experience in MRI, gained across two of Cambridge’s most respected imaging environments: Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre at the University of Cambridge. This combination of NHS clinical practice and university-based research experience has given her a well-rounded understanding of both routine diagnostic imaging and complex research protocols.
Georgina holds additional skills in cannulation and phlebotomy, allowing her to play an important preparatory role for patients prior to their scans whilst providing valuable support to the wider radiology team. Her calm, gentle manner is consistently noted by patients and colleagues alike, and she takes particular pride in helping those who feel anxious about medical procedures feel informed and at ease throughout their visit.
