Meet Eva
Eva Serrão
Dr Eva Serrão PhD, FRCR is a Consultant Radiologist at Cambridge University Hospitals, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and an affiliated Assistant Professor at the University of Cambridge. She graduated from the University of Coimbra in Portugal and subsequently completed her Doctorate and Radiology training at the University of Cambridge, before undertaking a fellowship in abdominal imaging at the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, University Health Network, Toronto, Canada.
Dr Serrão’s clinical interests include oncological imaging — encompassing whole-body MRI and image-guided biopsy procedures — as well as syndromic diseases and urological imaging. She has a longstanding commitment to abdominal imaging research, with experience in hyperpolarised 13C imaging and more recent work on novel abdominal MRI sequences and radiogenomics.
Dr Serrão has published in several high-impact peer-reviewed journals throughout her career and has received awards and prizes in recognition of her contributions to the field.
