Dr Emma Gerety
Dr Emma Gerety BA, MA, BM, BCh, PhD, FRCR
Dr Emma Gerety BA, MA, BM, BCh, PhD, FRCR is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist and Clinical Lead for Musculoskeletal Radiology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. Whilst experienced across all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology, she has particular subspecialty interests in hand and wrist imaging and paediatric musculoskeletal imaging.
Dr Gerety holds a PhD in imaging in developmental biology and has contributed to a significant body of academic work, including multiple peer-reviewed journal papers, invited reviews, and co-authored book chapters covering both paediatric and adult musculoskeletal radiology topics.
She has been elected to the executive committee of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists and is a member of the European Society of Skeletal Radiology and the International Skeletal Society. Dr Gerety is an experienced educator and has lectured and demonstrated on numerous national and international ultrasound courses.
