Meet Claire

Claire Moore is one of the UK’s most experienced Reporting Radiographers, with over 25 years in MRI practice. She currently serves as MRI Service Lead at a local NHS trust and as Regional MRI Lead for the Eastern Diagnostic Imaging Network, roles that reflect a career dedicated to improving how diagnostic imaging services are delivered across the region.

Claire has been instrumental in establishing multidisciplinary team pathways and direct access MRI services that have become standards of care, including critical Cauda Equina and Wake Up Stroke protocols. Her clinical expertise spans paediatric, neurological, urological, and gynaecological imaging, and she brings a particular commitment to advancing care in each of these areas.

As a contributor to the development of the PgCert in MRI at the University of Suffolk, Claire is deeply committed to education and mentorship, lecturing at multiple universities and supporting aspiring radiographers throughout their training. Her influence on the profession extends well beyond individual scans, helping to shape the future of diagnostic imaging across the UK.
