Our Experts

Our medico-legal work is led by consultants with active NHS practice, ensuring that reports reflect current clinical standards and real-world experience of the conditions under review.

Mr Mike Barrett is a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals with a specialist interest in foot and ankle conditions, complex lower limb trauma, and amputations. He undertakes approximately 100 personal injury reports per year and accepts instructions covering foot and ankle trauma, polytrauma, road traffic and industrial accidents, post-traumatic complications, and soft tissue injuries. He is the expert advisor to the British Medical Journal for trauma and orthopaedics.
