Mike Barrett
Mr Mike Barrett is a dedicated consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon who specialises in treating foot and ankle conditions at Cambridge University Hospital (Addenbrooke’s).
With years of experience under his belt, Mr Barrett is passionate about helping patients with a wide range of foot and ankle problems, from sports injuries to complex trauma cases and everything in between.
Mr Barrett’s journey to becoming a top foot and ankle surgeon has been impressive. After training in Liverpool, he honed his skills across the UK, eventually completing advanced fellowships in foot and ankle surgery, major trauma, and limb reconstruction. His hard work and dedication have earned him several awards, including being named Trainee of the Year and receiving the prestigious Trinity Cup.

Mr Mike Barrett has a financial interest in the practice as he holds a directorship position and a significant shareholding (>5%) in Momentm Health Limited; Momentm Health Limited owns all equipment.
At Cambridge University Hospital, Mr Barrett isn’t just treating patients – he’s also part of the team that handles the most severe injuries. He works closely with other specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients with multiple or complex injuries.
But Mr Barrett’s commitment to healthcare goes beyond the operating theatre. He’s passionate about educating the next generation of surgeons and has even co-founded an online platform which helps orthopaedic surgeons around the world continue learning and improving their skills.
